Last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite was more packed than any American wrestling show has been in quite some time. As highlighted by the broadcast and in a report on Pro Wrestling Sheet, All Elite Wrestling permitted around 150 spectators to yesterday’s TV taping. They were positioned in the back of Daily’s Place, significantly away from the COVID-19 tested wrestlers and crews. The fans were temperature checked at the door and needed to wear masks at all times while they were in attendance.
The invited spectators were seated in every other row to build in some kind of buffer. According to those in attendance, fans were monitored constantly for their mask placement, with one spectator capturing a member of the “mask squad” and posting the video on Twitter:
They had people monitoring and correcting people’s mask-wearing all night. Here is mask patrol getting in my shot lol pic.twitter.com/qVxRnuup14
