John Brumbaugh, who wrestles as John Skyler, has competed on a few recent episodes of AEW Dark. Unfortunately, his most recent match, in which he competed against Evil Uno and Stu Grayson of the Dark Order, will be his last one for the short-term future. Brumbaugh announced on Facebook that he suffered a serious knee injury last Wednesday during an AEW Dark taping. “I suffered tears in my ACL, MCL, and PCL in my right knee…that will sadly, keep me from doing what I love for a little while (projected to be around six months,) wrote Brumbaugh. “Decisions on inevitable surgery and rehab will be made early next week.”
In a lengthy message, Brumbaugh thanked All Elite Wrestling and their medical team and reflected on his career.
