Ref Aubrey Reveals Game Dev Past
AEW referee Aubrey Edwards has quickly become a favorite amongst the company’s fanbase and an enemy to injured Role Model Britt Baker. However, did you know that Aubrey once worked behind the scenes in a very different branch of entertainment? As seen on Twitter, Edwards once worked as a programmer and producer on the Scribblenauts series of video games.
I'm surprised it took this long for someone to make the connection tbh, especially because my starite tattoo is visible on TV every week ? https://t.co/RkSkhNAPJG

Employed at developer 5th Cell, Aubrey reveals that she worked on most major entries in the franchise as well as one that never saw the light of day. The company went through massive layoffs several days ago, which could be why we get to see her every Wednesday night on AEW in 2020.

AEW Dark Lineup Confirmed
Or, we might see Aubrey on Tuesday on YouTube reffing one of the matches confirmed for this week’s edition of AEW Dark:

- Billy Gunn vs. John Skyler
- The Natural Nightmares with Brandi Rhodes vs. Brandon Cutler & The Librarian Peter Avalon with The Librarian Leva Bates.
- Santana & Ortiz vs. “Big Game” Leroy & EJ Lewis
- Shawn Spears vs. Clutch Adams

Continuing the trend from last week, Dark is back to showcasing more than just jobber matches, and one hopes that some of the talent popping up just here gets a shot on the main show before too long.
