Backstage, R-Truth is staring at a picture looking sad. Charly asks R-Truth if he is ok after his match with Bobby Lashley. R-Truth says he beat MVP and MVP was tough (he has no idea that he fought Lashley). Truth says he wants to celebrate his win but he has no one to celebrate with. The photo R-Truth hs holding is of him and the 24/7 title. R-Truth says he is coming for his title, Tom Brady… Charly reminds us all that he means Rob Gronkowski.
Money in the Bank Ladder Match(s) (Both matches will be happening at the same time)
Men’s: AJ Styles vs. Aleister Black vs. Otis vs Daniel Bryan vs. King Corbin vs. Rey Mysterio
Women’s: Shayna Baszler vs. Nia Jax vs. Lacey Evans vs. Carmella vs. Dana Brooke vs. Asuka
The women are in the lobby while the men are in what looks like a gym. When Asuka’s music hits she is mo where to be found. Asuka is standing on the next level dancing… for some reason.
When the bell rings Mysterio kicks Black in the buts. In the lobby, Asuka dives off the ledge and flattens all of the women. Asuka gets in the elevator. The door closes as Baszler struggles to get to the elevator to stop Asuka. Corbin tosses a weight at Bryan, but Bryan moves. Corbin breaks a mirror in the process. Seven years bad luck King!
Otis slams Styles into a weight bench. Otis sets a barbell with more than 300 pounds on it on Styles’ chest so he can’t move. Styles begs Mysterio to help him. Mysterio says that’s loco and runs away. Everyone is chasing Corbin. Mysterio runs into Brother Love in the bathroom. The men have a Daredevil style hallway fight that leads to Otis and Corbin fighting in an elevator.
Evans and Carmella trip Baszler as they are running up the stairs. Baszler, Evans, and Carmella make it to the elevator on the second floor. The men spill out of the opposite elevator. Evans gets tossing into a fence. Bryan Yes kick Corbin. Otis gets too excited and starts doing the Yes chant so naturally, Bryan kicks him too.
