In news we’re always sad to report, a professional wrestler has passed on. On social media this morning, WWE referee Darryl Sharma passed on the news that Jamie Jackson has passed away. A star on the Candian independent circuit, going by “Sexy Baby” in several different promotions in the late ’90s and early 2000s.
Very unfortunate news to hear.
Jamie Jackson was a staple on the Ontario independent scene throughout the late '90s and early 2000s.
First became aware of him as part of The Hollywood Hunks with Custom Made Man and their manager, the late Otto Bahn (Peter Corneil). https://t.co/fvipI5YC12

Trained under the tutelage of the Renegade Wrestling Alliance, he debuted in 1995 for that promotion. He featured in a tag team known as the Hollywood Hunks alongside Custom Made Man and Stunning Sean. His tag talent got him a dark match before an episode of Nitro in 1999. They also met with officials at WWF at the time, but none of that ever resulted in anything but talk. He appeared in several wrestling-related projects as an extra through a friendship with Chris Kanyon before leaving the business around the time of the WWF Invasion.
Embedded below is one of several fan cams of his performances floating around the web. We here at WrestleZone give our condolences to Jamie’s friends and family in this difficult time.
