Backstage, Crews is on crutches. Charly tries to speak to Crews but he is apoplectic. Crews hops away with tears in his eyes.
WWE Championship Contract Signing
Jerry Lawler is presiding over the contract signing. McIntyre tells Lawler it’s best if he leaves. Lawler agrees. McIntyre signs the contract. McIntyre tells Rollins to sign it so they can get this done. Rollins says he didn’t want this. McIntyre will be a great champion someday. McIntyre is great but he isn’t a leader. Rollins says he is a leader. This is bigger than McIntyre. Rollins doesn’t want what happened to him to happen to McIntyre. The WWE Championship is his burden to carry. McIntyre thanks Rollins and admits that things are clearer to him now. It’s clear that Rollins is completely full of shit.
McIntyre asks Rollins where his followers are. The fans turned on him, too. It’s never Rollins fault though. McIntyreMcIntyre says he isn’t going to let Rollins win the championship. McIntyre tells Rollins to shut his mouth forever. McIntyre says Rollins has an impressive talent for putting his foot in his mouth while his head is up his ass. Rollins says at Money in the Bank the truth will be clear and McIntyre will be better for it. McIntyre slams Rollins head into the table. McIntyre drops Rollins with the Glasgow kiss. McIntyre sets up the Claymore. Murphy hits the ring and makes the save. Murphy and Rollins hug. McIntyre goes for the Claymore. Rollins ducks out of the way. Murphy eats the Claymore.
