Triple H: A Two-Night WrestleMania Is More Enjoyable Than One 8-Hour Show

Why Triple H wants a two-night WrestleMania moving forward: WWE After the Bell, April 23, 2020

WWE presented a two-night WrestleMania for the first time in 2020. For WWE executive, Triple H, he prefers this method to one full 8-hour event.

Speaking with Corey Graves on WWE After The Bell, Triple H expressed a desire to see the two-night format continue moving forward.

“I think it was much more enjoyable than the 8-hour extravaganza. I think at some point that is probably what it should be. You know, it’s just become so big that it’s almost when you think about it in a way, it started out as a concert that ended up being a festival,” Triple H said. “Also, it’s this week-long thing. You know, when you think about it, that matter now, you know, that Thursday would have been the Hall of Fame. Friday was SmackDown. Saturday was going to be TakeOver. Sunday would have been WrestleMania. Monday would have been Raw.

“It’s a week-long festival. And I think that big mainstage attraction needs to be those two nights and [have] it be this weekend of events. I do think that’s probably a change, that out of chaos, comes the genius and maybe that is the genius of it. I know there’s been people saying that for a period of time, but that’s a major shift and that doesn’t come easy. I think people in the world look at stuff like that. They go, look, why don’t they just make it two nights?”

Also, Triple H spoke about the process of moving WWE television to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. View his comments at this link.
