From his home, Johnny Gargano says his entire career has been one big fairytale ending. Gargano says he is tired of waving the NXT flag only to be unappreciated. Candice LeRae says she wasted her energy trying to be a big sister to the women’s division but no one has ever been there for her. LeRae says she isn’t going to eat second anymore. Gargano says she deserves it and she should eat first. they aren’t doing it “their” way anymore. They are going to burn down NXT and rebuild it in their image. They are going to be the first married couple to reign as NXT Champion and NXT Women’s Champion.
During a video package, Io Shirai says she has been waiting for too long to show Charlotte Flair how good she is. Shirai says she bows down to no one.
Backstage, a dejected Drake Maverick says Jake Atlas is great. Everyone in the tournament is fighting their opponent, but Maverick has to fight his opponent and himself. Maverick says maybe everyone was right about him.
Mia Yim vs. Jessi Kameaa
Kameaa locks in an arm bar. Yim floors Kameaa with a shoulder block. Kameaa kips up. Kameaa floors Yim with a shoulder block. Yim kips up. Kameaa surprises Yim with a spin kick. Kameaa lands a few strikes. STO by Yim. Yim hits Protect Your Neck for the win.

As Yim is walking up the ramp, Charlotte Flair walks out and asks Yim if she would accept her challenge for a match. Flair thanks Yim for helping make her a star. Flair is happy to finally be able to return the favor and make Yim a star. Flair walks away smiling as Yim looks on, flabbergasted by Flair’s inference.
