WWE Champion Drew McIntyre kicked off WWE RAW this week. He recapped how Seth Rollins attacked him last week. The Monday Night Messiah hit two Curb Stomps on McIntyre at the end of last week’s show. McIntyre said he wasn’t surprised about it. He said the title makes him a target. He wondered if Rollins deserves a title shot. McIntyre challenged Rollins to a match for the WWE Championship because he needs to continue to beat the best superstars. McIntyre called Rollins one of the best champions in recent memory.

Later in the show, Rollins accepted the challenge. The Monday Night Messiah called McIntyre a fighting champion and pointed out that they have a lot in common. Rollins said he, too, defeated Brock Lesnar at WWE WrestleMania. Rollins continued to praise the champion before he accepted the challenge. “I accept your challenge for a WWE Championship match at Money In The Bank,” said Rollins. “I’ve got nothing against you, Drew.” Rollins said he’s accepting the challenge out of necessity because he’s the leader the WWE Universe needs.
