Jerry Lawler’s “ramen noodle moonsault” remark didn’t go over so well, but Jim Cornette doesn’t think people should be mad over the WWE legend telling a joke on TV.
Lawler, who returned to the commentary desk on last night’s live episode of RAW, made a questionable remark while Akira Tozawa performed a senton off of the ring steps, calling it the “Ramen Noodle Moonsault.”
Social media immediately called it out, noting how insensitive Lawler’s remark was but Cornette took to Twitter and said it was nothing more than a joke and today’s fans were mostly a bunch of “whiny little pussies.”
So now people are mad at @JerryLawler for telling a joke. Now I understand why modern wrestling sucks, because most modern wrestling fans are such whiny little pussies they don’t DESERVE good wrestling. How do these people go out in public without breaking out in tears? #WHINE
