IMPACT Wrestling is ending April in a big way, confirming they will now host their planned Rebellion event as a two-part TV broadcast.
IMPACT just announced their updated plans for their Rebellion pay-per-view event, revealing the show will now air over the course of two nights on April 21 and 28. The company posted the following, confirming the event will take place on a closed set with essential personnel only due to current CDC guidelines for the COVID-19 outbreak:
In light of the restrictions placed upon live events as a result of the coronavirus, IMPACT Wrestling will hold its next major spectacular—IMPACT: Rebellion—on a closed set with only essential personnel in attendance, as per the guidelines put in place by the CDC.
Originally planned as a pay-per-view special, Rebellion will now expand into a two-part television event airing April 21 and April 28 as part of the weekly flagship series IMPACT!
Rebellion will air for free on AXS TV and Twitch in the U.S. and Fight Network in Canada, along with international IMPACT! broadcast partners.
The safety of IMPACT’s wrestlers, personnel, and fans is of the utmost importance, and while it is with some disappointment that we must scale back our original plans for the event, we are proud to have the opportunity to provide our loyal and passionate audience with some much-needed entertainment during this time. We look forward to producing a proper pay-per-view event once this crisis has passed.

Report: IMPACT Wrestling Taping Two Months Worth Of Content This Week
IMPACT’s Ethan Page recently spoke with Wrestlezone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard and took some time to praise Kylie Rae, noting how it was a great signing for the company. Page put over her charisma and the ability to rally the fans around her, adding that she’s going to be a key asset to IMPACT’s new direction.
“What I’m seeing with how Tessa’s wrestling—I just wrestled her in the main event on last week’s TV tapings—with the intergender stuff and us being the only national TV brand that’s doing full-length [intergender] matches—she’s a talent that can do that. I can’t say enough good things. If you want to talk about her for the rest of the interview, I don’t mind.”
