Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, WrestleMania is now taking place from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, with no audience in attendance. Recently, another update to the event was announced when WWE revealed that former NFL player Rob Gronkowski will be hosting the event and it will now be taking place across two nights on Saturday, April 4th, 2020 and Sunday, April 5th, 2020.
WWE has updated their card for Wrestlemania by providing dates next to each specific match that has already been announced. The current card for Wrestlemania 36 is shaping up to have Saturday night headlined by WWE Champion Brock Lesnar defending his title against Drew McIntyre. Meanwhile, Sunday will be headlined by the dream match between Goldberg and Roman Reigns.
4/4/20 – Saturday
- WWE Championship Match: Drew McIntyre vs. Brock Lesnar
- NXT Women’s Championship Match: Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley
- The Undertaker vs. AJ Styles
- Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins
4/5/20 – Sunday
- WWE Universal Championship Match: Roman Reigns vs. Bill Goldberg
- RAW Women’s Championship Match: Shayna Baszler vs. Becky Lynch
- John Cena vs. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt
As it stands, the Saturday event has more matchups but this is not accounting for the Last Man Standing Match between Edge and Randy Orton. That match is not official as of yet. Edge challenged Randy on the 3/16 Raw and Randy Orton will give his answer on the 3/23 Raw.
