Freelance Wrestling tried to pay homage to WWE’s old “In Your House” events and that backfired as the organization received a cease and desist letter.
Black Label Pro owner Mikey Blanton revealed the news on Twitter. “Looks like the crack legal team over at WWE sent out another cease and desist. This time to Freelance Wrestling over their “In Our Warehouse” event,” Blanton says. “Apparently that’s going to hurt all their In Your House WWE Network views.”
The promotion has since renamed it to Warehouse Wars and changed the logo to no longer resemble In Your House.
