ROH Wrestling Results (2/24/20): Slex vs. Flip Gordon

Backstage, Mark Haskins says he’s more focused than ever before and he’s targeting the Ring of Honor World Championship. Tracy Williams silently listens while Haskins speaks.

Dalton Castle & Joe Hendry vs. Righteous (Vincent & Bateman) (Replayed from ROH Free Enterprise)

Before the match, Castle says Hendry is “so prestigious,” and the Righteous refuse to shake their opponents’ hands. Castle and Bateman start the match and Castle takes him to the mat. Hendry tags in and grounds the big man. Hendry sings his theme song and drops Bateman with a shoulder block. Castle and Hendry continue to isolate Bateman. Castle suplexes Bateman but Vincent distracts Castle by waving Matt Taven’s crutch at him. Vincent and Bateman take control. Hendry tries to rally but Vincent drives him into a turnbuckle. Vincent and Bateman continue to dominate Hendry and a side effect earns Vincent a two count.

Hendry powers out of a guillotine choke and tags Castle, who clears house. He suplexes Vincent and Bateman, too. Caste catches a diving Vincent and drops him with a German suplex. Vincent sends Castle sprawling off the apron. Hendry hits a fallaway slam on both Vincent and Bateman. Hendry hits Vincent with a Codebreaker but Chuckles The Clown pulls Castle out of the ring. The distraction allows Vincent to pin Hendry after an elevated bulldog.

Winners: Righteous (Vincent & Bateman)

Backstage, Quinn McKay interviews Slex, who says, “Business has picked up” and he’s going to show everyone that, “Business is booming.”

Vincent, surrounded by his new group of allies, says we create our own reality, “and it’s righteous.”

“The Business” Slex vs. Flip Gordon

Slex takes Gordon to the mat but both competitors exchange technical holds. Both men trade fast-paced counters and Slex gains the upper hand. Slex floors Gordon with a slingshot backbreaker. A dive to the outside and suplex onto the apron give Slex all the momentum. The newcomer hits a stalling vertical suplex for a two count. Both men chop each other and Slex powerbombs Gordon off the top rope. Gordon rolls through a suplex and clothesline Slex. A twisting Falcon Arrow earns Gordon a two count. Slex rocks Gordon with a springboard kick and demolishes him with a lariat. A spinning torture rack slam earns Slex another near fall. Gordon rolls Slex up for a two count. A kick sends Slex tumbling to the outside. Gordon hits a moonsault off the top to the outside. Gordon gets a near fall after a springboard spear. A Flip 5 and a Stomp earn Gordon the win.

Winner: Flip Gordon

Both men shake hands after the match. Khan and Moses distract Slex and Shane Taylor attacks him. The big man drops Slex with a package piledriver. Taylor says he’s back in Ring of Honor and, as a shot at Slex, business is booming.
