Braun Strowman Responds To Tyson Fury’s Win, Shinsuke Nakamura Gets Staples After SmackDown, ROH Turns 18 (WZ Roundup)

Tyson Fury was the talk of the town Sunday morning after he defeated Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas. WWE Intercontinental Championship Braun Strowman chimed in on the discussion and offered to defend his title against Fury.

After a chaotic Symphony of Destruction match on WWE Friday Night SmackDown this week, Shinsuke Nakamura required medical attention. WWE’s official Instagram account shared a picture of a wound on Nakamura’s head that required nine staples.

Nakamura fittingly commented on the match using his Twitter account; “The piano was toughest,” wrote Nakamura, “and I couldn’t beat it.”

Happy 18th birthday, Ring of Honor; the company was held its first event on this day in 2002. Ian Riccaboni, the company’s lead play-by-play commentator, commented on the occasion.

Kenny Omega is returning to DDT Pro-Wrestling. On the company’s official Twitter page, they announced Omega will be at the DDT Wrestle Peter Pan event on June 7.
