Taya Valkyrie truly made an impact in IMPACT Wrestling’s Knockout division, but Jordynne Grace put an end to that last night.
Grace ended Valkyrie’s over year-long (and record-breaking) reign as Knockouts Champion in the main event of IMPACT yesterday evening as she nailed her modified Michinoku Driver for the pinfall victory on her adversary. This was after Taya’s corner man John E. Bravo tried to run interference in the bout.

Grace commented on her milestone win from last night using one simple, yet poignant word:

Valkyrie, on the other hand, had a few more words regarding her defeat, stating that what she has done was accomplished her way and will be hard to top.
“I held this division on my back for over a yr. Reinvented myself, challenged myself & everyone that faced me in that ring. In between spitting truths & victories, I became the longest reigning Knockouts champion in history. The bar I set is high, good luck tryin 2 get on my level,” Taya Tweeted.

Taya will indeed be tough to top as her run as Champion stands as the longest for any Knockout competitor.
