Speaking exclusively to Sports Illustrated, Tony Khan has revealed that AEW will once again present Double Or Nothing live on Pay-per-view on Saturday, May 23, 2020. The event will once again emanate from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. “Last May, we sparked a revolution with our inaugural Double or Nothing pay-per-view event in Las Vegas,” said Khan. “Double or Nothing rocked the wrestling industry and led to Wednesday Night Dynamite, a top-rated weekly show on TNT reaching millions of viewers worldwide, and over 140,000 live event tickets sold to date.”
This comes as no surprise as Khan had stated all last year that both Double Or Nothing, as well as All Out in August, will return to pay per view from the same locations as 2019. “It’s been an incredible run, and only fitting that we return to Las Vegas to celebrate our one year anniversary with AEW’s marquee event,” Khan continued. “On Saturday, May 23, Double or Nothing is back for round two at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Last year’s event changed the world of wrestling, and this year the stakes will be even higher.”
The next pay-per-view from AEW will be Revolution on February 29th and will feature Jon Moxley challenging for the World Championship against Chris Jericho.
