WWE legend Steve Austin will get another chance to grill celebrities his way, as USA has ordered 8 new episodes of his unscripted interview series, Straight Up Steve Austin. Guests on the new season, which is aiming for a Summar premiere this year, will be announced at a future date. Guests in the first season included everyone from WWE star Becky Lynch to NFL Quarterback Baker Mayfield to NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Straight Up Steve Austin was 2019’s #1 unscripted cable series for Men 18-49 and Men 25-54. The show is the second Steve Austin interview program currently on the air, alongside the Broken Skull Sessions on WWE Network. Both shows bank on the success of Austin’s podcast, where he regularly does lengthy and engaging interviews with guests.
Straight Up Steve Austin was paired with Monday Night RAW when it aired, and all indications point to that trend continuing upon its redebut in Summer 2020.
