Dave Bautista is thrilled to be going into the WWE Hall of Fame, but it won’t be Triple H or Ric Flair inducting him.
“I owe a lot to [Ric Flair, Triple H, Randy Orton and D-Von Dudley] but for personal reasons, I’ve personally requested that [Fit Finlay] induct me into the WWE HOF,” wrote Bautista on Twitter. “I’m sure that anyone who knows Fit Finlay will not question my request.”
The WWE and movie star also reflected on his journey within the promotion. “From my first WWE appearance in 2002 to my last appearance in 2019 … an amazing journey that’s led me to the Hall of Fame. Proud, privileged and honored to be inducted into the WWE HOF class of 2020,” he tweeted.
He’ll be joined in next year’s class by four members of the New World Order: Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Sean Waltman.
