On WWE Monday Night RAW this week, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Nikki Cross took on Sasha Banks. After a competitive match, Banks emerged victorious.

Last week, Banks and WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley defeated Cross and her partner Alexa Bliss, who left the match early with an injury. In this singles match, Cross had all the momentum early on and she continued to ground Banks. After countering a sleeper hold into a slam, Banks took control despite Cross’ best efforts. Cross rallied and planted Banks with a running bulldog for a near fall. Banks targeted Cross’ leg to gain the upper hand. Cross persevered and dropped Banks with a neckbreaker for a near fall.
Cross nailed another neckbreaker but Bayley distracted the referee. Bliss attacked Bayley at ringside but Banks rolled through a crossbody and made Cross tap to the Banks Statement. Banks attacked Bliss after the match and locked her in the Banks Statement.
