Elias was able to walk away with a big win tonight on SmackDown Live, taking down Ali to advance in the King of the Ring Tournament. The win propels Elias into the semi-finals of the tournament, and brings the superstar one step closer to being named King of the Ring. Although Ali gave it his all, an injury to his league seemingly forced the superstar to take things a bit slow, causing Elias to gain the upper hand and grab the victory.
Later in the evening, Chad Gable was able to come away with a surprising victory, taking down Andrade to advance to the semi-finals. Now, the SmackDown Live portion of the tournament is almost done, with Elias and Gable set to take each other on next week.
