As we ramp up for the Wednesday Night Wars between NXT and AEW, many have speculated that WWE will try to tamper with their own black and gold brand. While the last few weeks have been rather good, recent months have brought us such highlights as the Wild Card Rule and the rise of the 2 out of 3 Falls match. Many NXT fans fear that Vince McMahon will bring that same type of logic to NXT now that it’s on a proper network.
One man who doesn’t seem as concerned is NXT’s mastermind, Triple H. Sitting down with Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT, Triple H outright stated that Vince is not involved with the wrestling itself, although he may choose how the brand presents itself on USA.
Yeah, he’s going to have some say in some things like how the brand sits and the marketing of it on USA. Clearly, whatever he wants to do at the end of the day also. The truth is, at this point in time, he’s just said go out there and make this thing a success.
Triple H shoots down Dave Meltzer speculation Vince McMahon will be involved with NXT on the USA Network.
"It's funny the small-mindedness of it."

Triple H also states that Vince doesn’t get “credit for being the businessman that he is.” He states that WWE is in a good place because they’re able to sign billion-dollar deals with networks like FOX and that the industry wouldn’t be where it is today without Vince’s input.
