Timothy Thatcher To Face Douglas James At MLW War Chamber
MLW revealed that in-ring technician Timothy Thatcher will square off against kickboxer turned pro wrestler Douglas James at the upcoming MLW War Chamber event in Dallas, TX. Thatcher previously faced Davey Boy Smith in New York City in what was a memorable display of the “sweet science” and now MLW will deliver another bout of battling styles.

A former No Gi jiujitsu World Champion trained by the founder of 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu, Eddie Bravo, Douglas James is one of the top prospects on the California pro wrestling circuit, recently signing with MLW.
With a total of 15 mixed martial arts fights between both amateur and professional, Douglas James mixes an array of strikes, grappling, high flying and submission wrestling to an ever-growing arsenal.
While experienced in the MMA cage and kickboxing ring, Douglas James will be in deep waters against an opponent with a world of experience. Literally.
A top ranked globetrotting grappler, Thatcher most recently honed his skills in the United Kingdom and Germany. This submission artist has one of the most effective armbars in the sport including a lethal cross armbar and Fujiwara armbar. Complimenting these joint crippling submissions Thatcher is often known to crumple opponents with his brilliant backdrop driver.

Marshall Von Erich Has A Message For CONTRA
Marshall Von Erich was blinded by CONTRA Unit several weeks ago on MLW Fusion when a debuting Ikuro Kwon who sprayed red mist in the eyes of Marshall. It was unknown as to if he would be able to compete with his brother Ross and former MLW Heavyweight Champion Tom Lawlor against CONTRA in The War Chamber match, but Marshall had a message for the rogue faction while recuperating in Hawaii.
