MMA veteran Anthony ‘Sharkbait’ Gutierrez earned himself an EVOLVE Wrestling contract, after defeating Karam at the recent Evolve 133 event. The victory gives Gutierrez a chance to flex his muscles for a different type of crowd, as he’ll now be jumping into the wrestling ring with a golden opportunity.
Some might remember Gutierrez from his time on The Ultimate Fighter: Team Rousey vs. Team Tate, where he fought for Rousey’s team. During his time in the MMA, Gutierrez has amassed an 11-3 record, and fights primarily in the featherweight class. Now, he’ll look to dominate another sport, and it’ll be interesting to see how he handles himself in a ring with a background in wrestling already established.
