A few years ago it seemed as if there was a good chance Sami Zayn would become one of WWE’s top babyfaces, and one of the truly great good guys in the entire business. Now, in addition to being a fantastic heel, Zayn is also struggling to string many wins together on the main roster. Ever since returning from injury the former NXT Champion has been building a reputation for being pretty ‘controversial’, and that trend continued last night on Monday Night RAW.
Sami was defeated by Cedric Alexander in the first round of the 2019 King of the Ring tournament, in what was considered to be a bit of a surprising result by a lot of fans. In the aftermath of the loss, it emerged that Zayn was involved in some kind of fan altercation, which included him using profanity.
As it turns out, WWE is more than happy to promote that as you can see by the following clip. Now, it seems as if this disgruntled version of Sami Zayn could use his frustrations as fuel for a potential push in the not so distant future.

I am one of the best pro wrestlers on earth and I have been reduced to this. This is where I'm at now.
