The WWE King of the Ring Tournament has returned. Over the next few weeks, RAW and SmackDown will host tournament matches and the first two matches were on RAW this week.
Samoa Joe Defeats Cesaro To Advance In WWE King Of The Ring

Right when the match started, Cesaro floored Joe with a European Uppercut and took the fight to him. The Samoan Submission Machine regained control of the match and sent Cesaro tumbling into the first row. Joe continued to shut down Cesaro’s offense. Cesaro rallied and floored his opponent with a stiff kick. The Swiss Superman suplexed Joe and rocked him with another two uppercuts. A diving crossbody got Cesaro a near fall. Joe slammed the Swiss Superman and got a near fall after a senton.
Cesaro briefly swung Joe but Joe reversed the Neutralizer. Joe locked in the Coquina Clutch and Cesaro tapped out.
Cedric Alexander Defeats Sami Zayn To Advance In WWE King Of The King
In the second WWE King of the Ring tournament match on RAW this week, Cedric Alexander defeated Sami Zayn to advance to the next round. Alexander has become one of the brightest stars on RAW in recent weeks and his hot streak continued with this major victory.

Zayn dominated early on but Alexander used his quick offense to catch Zayn off guard. A dive to the outside gave Alexander more momentum and the Lumbar Check gave Alexander the victory.
