In an update to yesterday’s rumblings, several reliable sources are now reporting that NXT moving to USA is a lock. Both WrestleVotes and PWInsider have sources claiming that the two-hour version of WWE’s black and gold brand will head to USA on Wednesday nights from 8-10 PM EST. This would position the show opposite All Elite Wrestling’s timeslot on TNT on a network that has much more equal footing than Fox Sports 1 in terms of viewership.
A lot of rumors going around concerning NXT. I’ll add what I’ve heard… NXT is moving to USA Network on Wednesday nights. Not FS1.
And… I’ve been told WWE will make the official announcement this Monday.

In addition, WrestleVotes has gone as far to claim that the new version of NXT will be announced Monday. In addition, PWInsider reports that WWE hopes to get ahead of AEW in the timeslot by converting the planned 9/11 taping at Full Sail to a live USA broadcast. Taping would continue as normal on 9/12 with an additional taping scheduled for 10/24.
Whatever ends up coming to pass, it seems almost certain that NXT as we know it is a thing of the past. PWInsider also reports that NXT staffers are already being prepped for the longer broadcast, so even if it ends up on another network, the show will be WWE’s answer to TNT’s new wrestling broadcast.
