The Rock Contacted For SmackDown Anniversary Appearance
Earlier this week it was announced that the premiere episode of WWE SmackDown Live on the FOX network will be a 20th Anniversary special. The show takes place from the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, California on October 4th.
Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that The Rock has been contacted by WWE but he has yet to commit to the date.
It all comes down to his filming schedule whether he appears because he always has something in the pipeline with his movie career.
Jumanji: The Next Level and Jungle Cruise are in post-production while Red Notice has yet to start filming.
Brock Lesnar, WWE Hall of Famers Kurt Angle, Lita, Mick Foley, Booker T, Hulk Hogan, Trish Stratus, Goldberg, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Mark Henry, Ric Flair, and Sting are advertised to appear.
