Kota Ibushi had a hard-hitting bout against Kenta at New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Dallas G1 Climax Day 1 show, but it came at a price. Ibushi suffered a nasty looking ankle injury and it has swollen & bruised since the match.
In an update posted on his Twitter account, Ibushi showed off his injured foot:
出来る箇所から出来る限り💪諦めない! pic.twitter.com/hsESUWEuFi— 飯伏 幸太 (@ibushi_kota) July 9, 2019
He revealed that he was able to walk 100 steps today and hopes to walk 200 steps tomorrow. He says he won’t give up. He’s currently scheduled to work a six-man tag on Saturday and has his second G1 match this Sunday against EVIL.
