The Jim Cornette Experience Live
Jim Cornette holds a live edition of his podcast and Salina de la Renta is his guest. After talking about her accolades, Salina insults Konnan, saying he can’t keep any stars or please a woman. Konnan comes to the ring and offers to prove Salina wrong on live TV. She calls him disgusting and Konnan says she should be walking the streets. Konnan says he has some new stars under his wing and Salina says she has a secret of her own that will end Konnan’s career. She leaves the ring before sharing that knowledge.
Backstage, the Dynasty responds to the Hart Foundation. MJF is thrilled the Foundation wants to have Pillman participate in the match. Richard Holliday accepts the Foundation’s terms but MJF storms off.

MLW World Heavyweight Champion: Tom Lawlor (c) vs. Jacob Fatu
Before the match, the camera zooms in on Salina de la Renta, who’s sitting at ringside. Josef Samael accompanied Fatu to the ring. Lawlor and Fatu exchanged strikes to start the match. Fatu hit a shoulder block and sent Lawlor crashing into the barricade. A back suplex onto the apron gave the challenger all the momentum and he choked Lawlor with a camera cable. The Samoan Werewolf threw Lawlor around ringside. Fatu planted Lawlor with a slam but the champion dodged a diving headbutt.
Lawlor tried to lock in the rear naked choke multiple times but Fatu powered out of it. Fatu caught Lawlor and planted him with another slam. The champion dodged Fatu’s signature moonsault and hit him below the belt. A number of kicks didn’t phase Fatu, who refused to go down. The Samoan Werewolf hit a back springboard moonsault for a near fall. Fatu nailed a superkick and hit a popup Samoan drop. The Samoan Werewolf hit his signature moonsault for the win.
