Matt Taven and Jeff Cobb put on another incredible match at ROH Best in the World, where the two fought for the ROH World Championship. In a match that went back and forth right up until the end, it was Taven who was able to come away with the victory. From the start of the match, it was clear that this wasn’t a typical fight. Both superstars started things off by shaking hands before getting to work, showcasing just how much respect there is between these two.

After that, Taven and Cobb quickly got to work and Cobb looked to have an early advantage. Due to his sheer size and athleticism, he was able to toss Taven around and keep up with every. move. Unfortunately for him, though, fatigue eventually got the best of him, and Taven was able to land a series of suplexes to tire him out. As Cobb tried to keep up, Taven landed a flurry of knees to the head of Cobb, and landed the Climax on him twice for the victory.
