Nyla Rose v Riho v Yuka Sakazaki is the latest match announced for Fyter Fest this month, as seen on today’s new episode of Road To Fyter Fest.
Brandi Rhodes revealed the match in today’s episode; Riho and Yuka were on opposing teams at Double Or Nothing, while Nyla competed against Britt Baker, Kylie Rae and Awesome Kong on the card. Today’s episode also features an in-depth profile on Darby Allin, who faces Cody at Fyter Fest.
Today’s new episode of Road To Fyter Fest also features the following segments:
Joey Janela cuts a promo in a funeral home on Jon Moxley, talking about how he’s been making a name his way while ‘Mox’ was busy being a watered down version of himself with promos written for him. Janela says he’s made Moxley’s career look like child’s play, and he has everything to lose, so he’d rather be dead than stuck in obscurity, then climbs into the casket.
Brandi announces the women’s match and praises each competitor’s abilities. She talks about the fight Riho and Yuka brought the fight to DoN, and says Nyla’s power and size can’t be discounted, adding ‘The Beast’ is the one to beat… or survive… in that match.
Shawn Spears cuts a promo talking about making the right call, and says ‘to hell with fear’, and he’s going to pull himself forward. Cody is shown watching the promo and says Spears has a big future.
Darby Allin is featured talking about why he paints his face, saying it’s not to be badass or a gimmick, but it’s how he feels. Allin talks about being a better version of himself and relentless, then brings up his past and says he used to skateboard as an outlet, but wrestling gave him the right one.
