Kurt Angle Reflects On His 1999 Dark Match With Owen Hart
What now would have been a dream matches of all dream matches, Kurt Angle once faced Owen Hart in the WWE, but the battle only took place for the eyes that were in attendance. Chris Toplack of The Signature Spot podcast shared the factoid that Angle once went up against Owen and it was only five days prior to the legend’s tragic passing. Angle has said before that Owen “carried him” throughout the bout and now “The Olympic Hero” stated how much he wished the match was on television.
