In an interview with ESPN, former Ultimate Fighting Championship women’s featherweight champion Cris “Cyborg” Justino revealed that she plans to test the free agent market after her next bout in mixed martial arts. She’s set to face Felicia Spencer at UFC 240 in July 27, and then her current contract will be up.
What’s next for the Brazilian isn’t certain as she lost her belt to Amanda Nunes in her previous bout. She revealed that she’s going to talk to other mixed martial arts organizations and even pro wrestling companies to see what is next. However, the athlete knows that the transition wouldn’t be easy. “It’s hard to be a pro wrestler,” said Justino. “They work very hard. They’re very athletic. Maybe. I did training before a little bit.”
