2019 nominations for Canada’s Walk of Fame are now open, and many feel that time has come for the “Excellence of Execution” to take his place among his country’s greats. WWE posted an article on WWE.com supporting the nomination, highlighting his in-ring accolades as well as his legacy inspiring the name of the Calgary Hitmen in the Western Hockey League. They also talk about his philanthropy, becoming the spokesperson for March of Dimes Canada’s Stroke Recovery Canada Program.
In an opinion piece written for Daily Hive, former March of Dimes worker Ruth Kapelus agrees.
