On his Instagram page, Chris Jericho talks up a new move that may become his finisher during his time in AEW. While training in Batista’s gym in Tampa FL, the former WWE Champion took to a spinning back elbow and dubbed it “The Judas Effect.” This matches with the name of Fozzy’s latest album and its title track, which you may remember as one of the themes of NXT Takeover: Chicago. Jericho has been using the track as his wrestling theme song since his WWE departure.
Jericho’s trainer (former MMA fighter Josh Rafferty) sold the move in Jericho’s video, calling it a dangerous strike that isn’t taught in most modern martial arts.
