Jake Hager Wins Second MMA Bout; Gets Booed During Post-Fight Promo For Late Release Of Submission Hold

Jake Hager is still undefeated in his mixed martial arts career. Hager, aka former WWE champion Jack Swagger, fought T.J. Jones at Bellator 221, which aired live on the streaming platform DAZN. It was a quick win for Hager, who submitted his opponent with an arm-triangle after a little over three minutes of action. However, he kept the hold a few seconds after the tap, which was taken as a very bad sign of sportsmanship.

This victory makes Hager 2-0 so far in his MMA career. He picked up his first win earlier this year against J.W. Kiser via arm triangle. His next opponent remains to be announced, but it’s clear he is ready for a more seasoned opponent.
