‘Bullet’ Bob Armstrong Wrestles Final Match At 79 Years Old

“You still got it” may be an appropriate chant for “Bullet” Bob Armstrong this morning. The WWE Hall Of Famer took to the squared circle for one final time as he competed in his last match at the strapping young age of 79. Road Dogg’s wife was one to make the announcement on Twitter as father of the Road Dogg, referee Scott Armstrong and the late Brad Armstrong competed in-ring over the weekend in a match that was billed as his last in Pensacola, FL.

Armstrong, an NWA stalwart and multi-time champion in the Mid-South, Tri-State and Mid-America territories was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2011. Armstrong has pulled a page out of Terry Funk’s book (or vice-versa) and has  “retired” before so you just never know if “The Bullet” has another one lingering in the chamber.
