NOVA Pro Announces They Will Go On Hiatus, GCW To Take Over Wrestlemania Weekend Slot At ‘The Collective’

NOVA Pro has posted the following on Twitter, announcing they will go on hiatus, and will no longer be part of ‘The Collective’ next month during Wrestlemania week in the New York / New Jersey area.

NOVA Pro has been under scrutiny for the past few days and weeks, with a number of wrestlers speaking out on social media about being cheated out of pay and travel compensation by the promotion.

Game Changer Wrestling will now be taking over their event slot with a new show to be announced soon.

Due to personal reasons, NOVA Pro will be going on a hiatus after our March 30th event at the Old Ox Brewery.

GCW will be taking over the 12 pm slot on April 6th in Jersey City, all tickets have been transferred and will be honored by Game Changer Wrestling. They will be making announcements regarding talent and match ups ASAP, but we can confirm that Shinjiro Otani vs Jonathan Gresham will go on as planned.

NOVA Pro’s Eventbrite page will be up until Monday to issue any refunds that will be requested for Born To Run. After that all ticketing questions must go through GCW.

Please be patient as a lot of moving parts are involved and logistics need to be worked out to make this a smooth transition. If any wrestlers have any questions please feel free to contact me via Email or via Text.

Any tickets purchased for other dates such as Commonwealth Cup will be refunded until our plans are more concrete.

The 3/30 show will now be a ‘Fan Appreciation Night’ and wrestlers throughout NOVA Pro’s entire history will be on the event including Logan Easton LaRoux, Arik Royal, Tim Donst among others. Any former NOVA Pro wrestler is invited to the event and can contact me for details.

Thank you to the fans for their continuous support through the years. While I figure out NOVA Pro I encourage you guys to seek out and support other promotions in the area such as Primal Conflict, CRAB Wrestling, Fury Pro and Flying V. At the end of the day the main goal of NOVA was to give this area a thriving Indie scene and I like to think no matter what happens we’ve accomplished that.

Thanks,

Mike
