In Ring Segment: The Boss & Hug Connection
Banks says it feels good to be home. Their journey to become the first ever WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions started in NXT. Bayley said it was very important to them to come back to NXT to share the titles with the NXT Universe. Banks says they are taking the titles all over the world. From Raw to Smackdown, and NXT. Bayley says all the ladies backstage need to step up. The next time they are in an NXT ring they may be defending the WWE Women’s belts.
Shayna Baszler vs Mia Yim
Baszler trips Yim. Yim asks Baszler if she has lost her damn mind. Baszler takes down Yim two more times. Baszler tries to land a right hand but Yim moves. Baszler ends up punching the mat. Yim lands a few strikes. Baszler rolls out of the ring. Yim lands a suicide dive. Yim boot Baszler in the face. Yim pushes Baszler into the ring steps. Yim stomps Baszler’s hand on the ring steps. Yim attempts a head kick, but Baszler moves. Yim kicks the ringsteps. Yim falls down and clutches at her leg. Baszler brings Yim back into the ring. Baszler bends Yim’s leg in ways it just shouldn’t. Baszler stomps Yim’s ankle. Baszler almost puts Yim in the Kirifuda Clutch. Yim yanks Baszler’s injured hand to break the hold. Baszler locks Yim in a kneebar. Yim gets to the ropes. Yim surprises Baszler with a kick. Tornado DDT by Yim! Yim hits Eat DeFeet. Baszler kicks out. Baszler gut wrench suplexes Yim. Yim kicks out. Baszler lays in a few kicks. Yim picks up Baszler and lands a sit out powerbomb. Baszler kicks out. Baszler destroys Yim with a running knee. Baszler puts Yim in the Kirifuda Clutch. Yim almost breaks it but Baszler traps Yim’s arms with her legs. Yim taps out.
