During WWE’s fourth quarter earnings call, Co-President George Barrios was asked about “another wrestling organization” launching in reference to All Elite Wrestling. The concern was that it would lead to over-saturation or change WWE’s current place in the wrestling world. Judging by Barrios’ answer, the company isn’t all that worried about competition right now.
“[It’s] too early to tell [what impact it will have],” said Barrios. “We wouldn’t talk about specifics of that. From our perspective, we are the premier global organization with the greatest wrestlers in the world, one of the greatest platforms. We have a lot of confidence in our ability to manage that.”
