Toni Storm Wins NXT UK Women’s Championship

Toni Storm is beginning 2019 where she left off in 2018. The 2018 Mae Young Classic winner defeated Rhea Ripley to become the new NXT UK Women’s Championship. Ripley has held the championship since winning an eight woman championship tournament back in August of 2018. Ripley defeated Xia Brookside, Dakota Kai, and ultimately Toni Storm to become the inaugural NXT UK Woman’s Champion. Things have come full circle for Storm, who ended Ripley’s reign at today’s NXT: UK TakeOver.
