Backstage, Shane McMahon and HHH arrive together.
In Ring Segment: Seth Rollins
Rollins says the Crossfit Jesus doesn’t do New Year’s resolutions. Rollins wants his IC title rematch right here and right now. Instead of Dean Ambrose, Rollins is joined in the ring by WWE COO HHH. HHH says Rollins as an opportunity at a fresh start. Nothing is being handed to anyone. There are no automatic rematches from here on out. The match Rollins wants is not going to happen. HHH says he has to be honest with Rollins. HHH isn’t sure Rollins deserves a rematch anyway. HHH tries to go into a speech about believing in Rollins, Rollins tells HHH to cut the crap. HHH tells Rollins that Rollins made HHH a believer.
When HHH didn’t believe in Rollins for a brief moment, Rollins took HHH to WrestleMania and kicked his ass. Rollins goes nuts and says he has been carrying this show for 12 months while Brock Lesnar is doing whatever in Canada. HHH tells Rollins he wants Rollins to burn it down, starting tonight against Bobby Lashley. Rollins says he is going to take out anyone who gets in his way. Rollins will take out Lesnar and the whole McMahon family if he has too. Shane McMahon runs to the ring to calm everything down. Shane says Ambrose will face the winner of the “Fresh Start” battle royal here tonight.
