Joey Ryan has gone on Twitter to make the unfortunate announcement that he’ll be canceling several of his upcoming tour dates due to his recently torn pectoral muscle. Ryan has been out of commission since his MLW Fusion taping appearance early in November (which even then he had to wrestle in a sling) and his timetable for a return will likely be an extensive one

Ryan wrote about the details of his injury in an earlier Tweet from November:
The MRI revealed that I have an acute tear of the left pectoral muscle including a high-grade tear of the clavicular head at the myotendinous junction and a high-grade intratendinous tear of the sternal head with retraction and hemorrhage into the muscle belly. Disorganized fibers of the muscle tendon tear identified within the deltopectorial groove.
The Doctor is recommending surgery and I’m to call the surgeon on Monday or Tuesday to set up an appointment to see them.
A timetable on recovery will be determined by the surgeon.
We’ll continue to update you on Joey Ryan’s status and wish him the best in his recovery.
