The professional wrestler formerly known as Enzo Amore, now going by nZo, released his debut album Rosemary’s Baby Part 1: Happy Birthday, and it included some references to some high-profile professional wrestlers. While he doesn’t go out of his way to talk about many of his peers or his time within World Wrestling Entertainment, he did bring up both Ric Flair and The Rock.
Ric Flair is brought up on the intro to the song “Liv a 30 for 30.” He starts off the track by simply talking about the realities of life on the road. “You know this life ain’t easy on families, women, children, husbands,” states nZo. “Ric Flair will tell you that, right? I’m on the road 200+ days out of the year. That’s the life I chose.”
The other major professional wrestling reference comes later on in the album. On the track, “Forgetful” he references the biggest success story in all of sports entertainment, The Rock. “Nose crooked, still good lookin’,” raps nZo before bring up Dwayne Johnson. “Still know what The Rock is cookin’.”
Other than some veiled lines about Liv Morgan, the former Enzo Amore largely keeps professional wrestling away from his debut album. Whether or not that will result in more listenership remains to be seen.
