Tenille Dashwood To Appear At Global Wars
Tenille Dashwood is one of the top female wrestling talents in the world let alone competing for Ring Of Honor and their Women Of Honor division. Ring Of Honor has announced that Tenille Dashwood will appear at Global Wars in spite of her recovering from recent shoulder surgery. The following is from ROHWrestling.com:
Women of Honor star Tenille Dashwood will participate in the ROH Meet & Greets on the upcoming Global Wars tour as she recovers from successful surgery on her right shoulder.
The tour begins Nov. 7 in Lewiston, Maine; heads to Lowell, Mass., Nov. 8; Buffalo, N.Y., Nov. 9; and concludes in Toronto, Ont., Nov. 11. Fans at those shows will have an opportunity to meet Tenille, take a photo with her and get a signed 8×10.
She underwent surgery on the shoulder several weeks ago to repair a dislocation, torn labrum and fracture. Her recovery time is estimated to be six months.
After suffering the injuries, Tenille fought through the pain and continued to wrestle for six months. However, after losing a hard-fought WOH World Title Match to champion Sumie Sakai at Death Before Dishonor in September and then being attacked backstage by an unknown assailant later that night, she knew she had no choice but to take some time off and get the injury taken care of.
“Literally nothing was holding my shoulder in place anymore,” she told ROHWrestling.com. “I realized I couldn’t wrestle at my full potential, so it was time to get it fixed.”

Top 5 Women Of Honor Trailblazers
The Women Of Honor division is another piece in the American women’s wrestling revolution and Ring Of Honor has taken a look back on their website at 5 Trailblazers of their women’s division:
As the women’s division in Ring of Honor continues to grow and make its mark on the sport, it’s important to recognize the women who paved the way for the current generation of Women of Honor stars.
Here are the five greatest WOH competitors from a prior era:
5. ALLISON DANGER
Danger, the younger sister of former ROH star Steve Corino, made her ROH in-ring debut in 2002, the company’s first year in existence. She remained one of the top competitors in the women’s division until 2009. Danger, who co-founded the Shimmer women’s wrestling promotion, also managed ROH stalwart Christopher Daniels for several years.
4. MSCHIF
The green mist-spewing gothic star is the longest-reigning Shimmer Champion, having held the title for 715 days from 2008-2010. MsChif successfully defended the championship twice in ROH, which had a working relationship with the women’s promotion, and competed in ROH from 2006-2013. MsChif was a member of The Age of the Fall, a faction in ROH that was founded by Jimmy Jacobs and included Tyler Black.
3. LACEY
Lacey made quite an impact during her time in ROH from 2004-2008, both as an in-ring competitor and a manager. She engaged in a long-running feud with Daizee Haze and defeated such stars as Sara Del Rey, Sumie Sakai, Allison Danger and Serena Deeb. Lacey was a member of The Age of The Fall and managed AOTF’s Jimmy Jacobs — who was obsessed with her — and BJ Whitmer, a duo she dubbed Lacey’s Angels.
2. DAIZEE HAZE
Haze competed in ROH from 2004-2011 and had memorable rivalries with Lacey and Sara Del Rey. She was a member of Generation Next, a faction that included Austin Aries and Roderick Strong, and later was part of The Embassy. Haze formed an alliance with Delirious, who was her trainer. Haze went on to join Delirious as a trainer at the ROH Wrestling Academy.
1. SARA DEL REY
Del Rey was the measuring stick during her run in the women’s division in ROH from 2005-2012. An international star, she won a 16-woman tournament in 2007 to become the inaugural Shimmer Champion, and successfully defended the title twice on ROH cards. Del Rey, who counts former ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson among her trainers, was an associate of The Kings of Wrestling (Claudio Castagnoli and Chris Hero) and formed a strong mixed tag team with Hero. After retiring from in-ring competition in 2012, Del Rey became the first female trainer at the WWE Performance Center and currently is the assistant head coach in NXT.
