Backstage, Shayna Baszler is with the rest of the Four Horsewomen. William Regal walks in and tells Baszler that she will defend her title against Kairi Sane in a two-out-of-three falls match at Takeover: Wargames.

Conti grabs a side headlock. Kai reverses it into a headlock. Conti tries to kick Kai in the gut. Kai catches Conti’s foot. Kai armdrags Conti. Kai tries an up an over but Conti kicks Kai square in the wrist. Conti kicks Kai over and over. Conti tosses Kai around the ring. Conti kicks Kai in the face. Kai kicks out. Kai surprises Conti with a scorpion kick. Kai face washes Conti. Kai hits the rolling backstabber for the win.

Backstage, Mia Yim says she is super excited to be in NXT. Bianca Belair interrupts and says she doesn’t know why Yim thinks anyone she care about or respect her. They should be talking to Belair because she is un-de-feated. Yim says Belair hasn’t beaten the Head Baddie in Charge yet. Belair laughs and walks away.
Backstage, Kassius Ohno tells Matt Riddle he is going to break him.
Johnny Gargano says he attacked Aleister Black because Black was in his way. Black could have stopped Gargano from his ultimate goal: defeating Tommaso Ciampa. Gargano is still the same guy he always was. Gargano fights for what’s right. Gargano isn’t scared of Black.
Backstage, Regal says there will be a singles match next week between the two Wargames teams. Whoever wins will get the advantage during the Wargames match.
