Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar will battle for the vacant Universal Championship at Crown Jewel.
In Ring Segment: Paul Heyman
Heyman says tonight his thoughts and prayers are with Roman Reigns. Heyman puts over Reigns and the rest of the locker room. Heyman says Reigns is the first person to tell you the show must go on. It will go on at Crown Jewel when Lesnar faces Strowman. All the things that exemplify what means to be champion do not apply to Strowman. Strowman isn’t in Lesnar’s league. Strowman walks out on the stage and tells Heyman that he is going to beat Lesnar. When Reigns beats Leukemia, Reigns will be first in line for a title shot. Strowman tells Heyman that Lesnar is going to get these hands. Strowman turns around and McIntyre Claymore kicks him. Strowman is out.
Backstage, Ziggler congratulates McIntyre on what he just did to Strowman. McIntyre says he isn’t a child. McIntyre isn’t scared of monsters. Strowman needed them, not the other way around.
In Ring Segment: Elias
Elias wrote a song about Apollo Crews interrupting him last week. Before Elias can start the song, Crews interrupts again.
