Pete Dunne has been removed from an appearance for Destiny Wrestling this weekend due to an apparent injury.
Destiny Wrestling announced the move on their social media channels, originally noting Dunne was suffering from a ‘severe’ injury. That Facebook post has since been edited and updated, still noting Dunne’s absence is still due to an undisclosed injury:

Pete Dunne will not be able to make it to this weekends tour in Canada. We apologize to everyone for any inconvenience but the show must go on and we are happy to announce that UK stars Tyler Bate & Trent Seven will be coming to represent British Strong Style!

Dunne recently surpassed 500 days as WWE United Kingdom Champion. Dunne and Adam Cole are scheduled to challenge Ricochet for the North American Championship on next week’s episode of NXT. (Next week’s show has already been taped)
