The third week of the Mixed Match Challenge was a fun pair of matches between the Raw and SmackDown Live brands. Alicia Fox and Jinder Mahal try to get to their winning ways against the debuting pair of Bayley and Finn Balor and Rusev & Lana attempt to put ‘Milwaukee’ behind them against another married couple in Jimmy Uso & Naomi.
Opening the show was the team debut of Finn Balor and Bayley against the struggling pairing of Jinder Mahal and Alicia Fox. Along with Sunil Singh, Fox and Mahal have had problems co-existing with one another. After losing to Country Dominance, Mahalicia were looking to achieve a win or be behind 0-2 in the tournament. Sunil Singh tried his best to assist Alicia Fox, but after one too many screw-ups, he left Fox wide open to receive a Belly-To-Bayley to suffer their second straight loss:

For the SmackDown match, Lana and Rusev of Ravishing Rusev Day faced off against Day One Glow of Naomi and Jimmy Uso. Rusev and Lana had their own issues of late, as Aiden English revealed that Lana ‘wanted’ him in Milwaukee. It definitely played a factor into their match here as Uso took advantage of by bringing it up to Lana. The distraction was enough for Naomi to catch her off guard with a roll=up victory, bringing the team to a 1-1 record:
